Do you consider meth addicts as zombies of our world?

I recently found out that meth (drug) addicts lose their hair and teeth. They also have shedding and rough skin (just like zombies). Moreover these guys walk like zombies and most of them are active at night.
All these characteristics are similar to those of zombies. So what should be done to them? I mean they have little chances of any recovery, so should we just put them out of their misery or is there any hope for them to recover?

You can't be serious about putting them out of their misery! You may want to have a look at this article:

You cannot compare a person with a debilitating drug addiction with a dead body. Do not judge. These people merely need help by someone who truly cares about their well being. They are still human and have people who love them. "They need help."

If you put them away you can cure domestic violence, child abuse, property crimes, deaths, vehicle thefts, stabbing and shootings. And of course, you can put them away as well. Win-Win Situation.

You my friend are severely misinformed. It is 100% possible that a methamphetamine addict can be cured. I do not understand your entire logic. I suggest you study this matter before you speak.

88% of the addicts do not even try to get any rehab. these zombies have no decision-making skills cuz meth attacks the mind.
my point is, why not save a community if you can just kill one already dead man. this can set an example for others.

Again.. you are seriously misinformed!! Everyone deserves a second chance. Zombies are dead. These are live human beings with a serious drug problem who need "HELP."

Sure, they need help. But they should have never started in the first place. The question shouldn't be how to put them out of their misery, but rather, how to prevent this from happening.

I'm almost offended.  Drug addicts always have hope of living free of bondage, don't they?  And zombies aren't real.  They are make believe.

You cannot cure them. The system will never allow you to do so. Have you ever been to California. They do not have anymore space to put low level drug dealers behind bars but they do not even touch the top-notch dealers who are the real culprits.

shahkar-khan, Why are you now talking about drug dealers? The drug dealers were never part of your original questions?

Perhaps it is law-abiding citizens we should scold. Maybe they are part of the problem for not wanting to call authorities when they see suspicious activity....maybe we should euthanize cops because they aren't arresting the right people. (sarcasm)

    Meth and the Brain
" Meth releases a surge of dopamine, causing an intense rush of pleasure or prolonged sense of euphoria.
Over time, meth destroys dopamine receptors, making it impossible to feel pleasure.
Although these pleasure centers can heal over time, research suggests that damage to users' cognitive abilities may be permanent.
Chronic abuse can lead to psychotic behavior, including paranoia, insomnia, anxiety, extreme aggression, delusions and hallucinations, and even death."

Sounds like zombies to me. Maybe feeding them brains would help?

Meth is more addictive than cocaine or heroin. You cannot accurately put a face on meth addiction because it could happen to anyone, which means everyone deserves the right to ask for help. http://www.meth-addiction-treatment.com … ed-states/

Where would it end?  If we euthanize one group, why not another?
      People do get off drugs.

I'm not recommending euthanasia.  I said it could happen to anyone, which means everyone deserves the right to ask for help. Trouble with meth is there is no coming back from the serious damage to the brain in cases of long term addiction.

Come on everybody, why don't you guys just accept that meth addicts are live human beings that are slowly converting into zombies as their addiction accelerates. And plus they need help but they simply cannot be helped. Yeah! that's right they cannot be helped.
And since when is somebody treated through a post on a thread/forum. We can stack up 7 million views in just one day for a song on youtube (which is apparently a very useless song) but we do not show any series interesting in doing something about the zombies. By just writing 'they need help' and shoo off from the thread ain't gonna help much.

Moreover what will you guys do if a zombie points a gun at one of your family members and asks for petty cash which he/she is not having on him/her?

I will just want to blow that zombies' head off on the very first opportunity that i can grab.

And that is what i am saying when i mean that we should put them out of their misery. We are helping them, helping ourselves and helping the community at large.

I know some of you will still disagree. But just remember this thing when ever you guys are involved in such a situation with a zombie just do the right thing. Put that irritating thing out of his misery.

AND IF YOU GUYS STILL DISAGREE:
And if you guys still disagree i would want you to point out for me one concrete instance in your life when anyone of you have helped a zombie.

I am sure many of you have helped them just to the extent of this thread and any other similar thread.  And if that is the case then you guys do not know anything about meth zombies.

They say 'experience is the best education'. And i am saying from my experience with meth zombies that they are much much much harder to treat as compared to other types of drug addicts.

The drug (meth) freaking eats your brain out man. These guys are never the same. They are pathological zombies.
