What Can Affect Your Cholesterol Levels The Day Before A Blood Test?
Are there any ways a cholesterol blood test can be skewed based on the activities and diet from the day before fasting for 12 hours?
I assume that eating something with cholesterol would impact the results. Basically anything that is animal-based (meat, eggs, milk, etc.) Plant-based foods never have cholesterol. Though if you fasted for 12 hours before hand, it should be an accurate blood test, regardless of what you ate.
