    Pregnancy vs Abortion choose

A friend of mine found out recently that she is pregnant. She isn't ready for another child neither is her boyfriend.  He wants the foetus aborted and she doesn't.

She doesn't believe in it and doesn't want to do it.

    What advice would you give?

I'd tell her she's the one who has to live with the choice either way and that she needs to do what is best for herself. There are over 500,000 children in the foster care system already, so I don't advocate adoption, but if she were to ask I would explain that there may be just as many regrets no matter which she chooses. It isn't a choice anyone would be able to make for her.

    The man's vote doesn't count.
Legally in the U.S. only the woman has the right to make such a choice. Even if the man wanted his girlfriend to have a child he could not force her to carry a child to term. Legally it's her body and her choice.
There is no such thing as an accidental birth. A birth takes place only if the (woman) wants it to. It's not up for discussion.
However I'm sure many people may be wondering in this day of modern medicine and multiple birth control methods along with the Plan B pill...etc How is it possible for the same woman to have two unplanned pregnancies out of wedlock?
Were both people doing everything possible to avoid this scenario? Hopefully after she has the child she won't tell it that their father didn't want him or her.
