How Exercise Benefits Me

Thinking of shedding those extra pounds here and there? I bet some of you are dying for that and I know this is somehow an issue of you and…me? Well, I must admit that I was, but I don’t think that’s the issue of mine at this very moment…

Before everything, I mean before we are here to find out how exercise would do us a great favor to shed our pounds off, please have this in mind though, we tend to overlook the role of nutrition most of the time when the real fact is that it does affect our progress of losing weight. Yes, we have to be well consumed with not only the good but right nutrition before the exercises could actually do their parts...

Couldn't be convinced about the statement above? Well, don't worry, I would have this to share may be in a later time.

Now, forget about the nutrition first in this hub and let's find out what are the great exercises that would help you and me to get fitter and sexier…

I must admit though, exercise not only helps me to get fitter and sexier, but transforms me to a healthier me and improves my mood and appearance at the same time, and of course, I have gained back the self-confidence and the positive mind ever since I have committed to these exercises.

Take this note however, it’s important to use the proper form and technique when you are doing any exercise as it will not only really shape and tone you up but avoid the risk of injury, bear in mind always that the quality of the workout is much more important than the quantity of the workout.

So, let’s dig out some of the exercises here that would get us fitter and sexier in no time…

Swimming

Do you know that swimming is an incredible great sport for toning your body? As you might already know that it increases our lung capacity while we are doing all the laps and strokes in the pool, it works actually almost all our muscle groups.

Though, my friends around prefer exercise on land rather than in the water...yes, I understand that for those who has that so-called water phobia, it's really not that easy for them to be persuaded. I am lucky enough though as I did conquer it and enjoy it much since then.

Yes, why not? Swimming is quite a low impact exercise as it does not strain your bones and joints, it is not only a great exercise to build your core strength, strengthen your cardiovascular system, improve your posture and endurance but burn away your body fat, improve your shape and build your energy at the same time...

So, swim on, you would be surprised enough to see a toned and sexy triceps of yours after a two months' swimming program.

Yoga

Do you believe that by doing yoga itself would make you fit and sexy? Somehow, it adds also a little mystique to your personal...sounds great huh? Yes, of course, and it does create a buzz actually...

Different yoga poses do us great results to our different parts of body...whichever parts you want to be transformed, yoga does help.

Yes, regardless the sexy butt you have always wanted...those toned, sexy and sculpted arms you have been dreaming on, and the dreaming of the perfect midriff, sexy obliques...hey I wonder if all these ever attract you to fall in yoga.

Trust me, if you are aiming for strengthening your core, achieving a great abs and be in the form of fit and sexy, yoga surely could be one of your choice!

Dancing

Not your option?

I know, I truly know that not everyone feels comfortable with dancing, especially those who are just like me previously convinced much that I got two left feet and no sense of rhythm...well, it's time to persuade yourself now as you would find out that not only it releases yourself, having fun but in the mean time, tones and shapes up your body and get a fitter you. And surprisingly you would find you too can dance so well actually in the end...at least hands and legs can finally co-ordinate with the music...haha, I am actually referring myself...

However, there are different types of dancing out there, sometimes it’s just so hard to choose just one. I mean…you can always get involved in those that you enjoy much. Be it the salsa, hip-hop, cha-cha, mambo, jazz, belly-dancing, zumba or pole dance. Of course, there are still many more out there, I am just listing out a few here that I have learned before to share with you. Hmmm...I bet u are wondering much now how such dancing can make us fitter and sexier, well, before you are being convinced, they really do.

Salsa

Hmmm… it’s performed to a fiery, faster tempo, high-energy and full of fun. If you are familiar with the mambo, a merger of Swing and Rumba, well, it’s a peppery version of it that laced with steps from other Latin dances.

So, what's now? Let's get loud of course!

Let's Get Loud

Cha-Cha

It’s a must style to know, you know the reason huh? Yes, it’s the all time favorite Latin dance. It’s a happy, carefree and party dance. The music tempo is usually 110 to 130 beats per minute. Trust me; you would love it once you get the move.

Belly Dance

What you can see from the performance is a form of dance characterized by sharp, rolling movements of the hips and abdomen. Yes, somehow it’s so sexy and so feminine especially with the costume on.

You hear the tinkling sounds?

Ok, what's next?

You are aiming for the sexy, fit body, aren't you?

So? Shake your body, roll your hips then.

Pole Dance

I bet this is a dance that you should not miss. However, some of us may have such a misconception towards pole dance. Hmmm...well, kinds of indecent, undignified…

No, from now on, throw away such unhealthy mindset, you have got to believe that it’s actually a graceful dance that combines dance and gymnastics, so it’s an excellent form of exercise and performance of course.

Pole dancing classes are popping up in many fitness centers nowadays as it's not only a fun but physically demanding form of exercise that can make you feel fit and sexy at the same time.

So, as long as you can access to a pole, enjoy yourself and enjoy the health benefit of pole dancing especially girls and ladies out there.

Hip Hop

Hey, I bet you all know what hip hop is huh, yes, it’s a popular dancing that originated in African-American communities during the late 1970's.

I included this in the list as it too can be used to strengthen our thigh, glutenous, calves and other muscles in our legs and arms.

Best of all, it puts less of an impact of our feet and knees so we can do it in order to give our body a new way of working out.

So, never ever underestimate the power of hip hop baby, it actually does enhance our body sculpt by the famous moves of breaking, popping, gliding moves, etc., surprise?

Aerobox

Love throwing punches? Kicking?

Oops no, don't get me wrong! No fighting for sure and it's definitely not a fighting in the ring!

Hey, but what's that then?

Well, look into this, yes, Aerobox, an intense cardiovascular workout involving choreography based on boxing movement like punching, kicks, jab, sparring, skipping rope, quick jumps etc., in short, it's a mix between boxing and aerobic that arises in the United States which provides value added to the aerobic exercise and improve benefits of their practice. It is performed as an aesthetic movement, where the mark is in the air.

Sounds challenging? Well, what you need to do is feel the beat enjoyably; and you will feel totally energized to get through the workout, yes, just go with the jab, punch, cross, kick, hook and round house kick...

See? It works almost on your arms, shoulders, legs, abs and butt.

Enjoy The Move

Try these, and trust me, you would have your dream fitter and sexier body in no time...and don't forget this always as you enjoy the moves, they move away your stress and bad mood at the same time and the most important point is that, you might find surprisingly and amazingly that you would gain your confidence without any of your realization.

So, move your body!

Which exercise you prefer the most to get yourself fit and sexy?
