      Hello Laurie,

Herbal remedies most of the time do not have side effects and relatively cheap.

I have never heard of brown sugar mask. I learn new things from you and you learn from me. Learning is two way process.

      Thanks for reading and commenting.

Another good and useful hub. I like the ideas of home remedies.

I used home remedies when I can, I find for one they are cheaper and for another they are something you may have around the house anyway.

coconut oil is wonderful I love it, I need to get me some more soon. It is also very wonderful on the hair. It actually helps hair to grow smooth and wondrous.

The carrot recipe is the first time I hear of that. I am going to try it today. I have a whole bunch of carrots that have to be used so perfect timing.

mayonnaise is also good for the skin and an egg white.

I have a brown sugar mask that I have used and it is amazing. Lot of ingredients in it though.

I love the idea of the rose water, I have never tried it or heard about that until now. Sounds so refreshing, I do have to try it.

      thank you for this

Hello Vinaya, I'm not into lightening my skin, but there are certainly many reasons to use natural ingredients for skin care, instead of what you buy in the drugstore these days. You have some interesting mixes that I will have fun trying, I think. Thanks for the easy to follow suggestions.

Vinaya- Very useful tips here regarding ways to use natural and organic foods for beauty treatments. The cucumber and yogurt face mask sounds wonderful and I had absolutely NO idea you could use different foods and other natural things to lighten the skin. That sounds so much better than harsh chemicals. Very useful.. thank you!

      Hi Vinaya!

Yes even I think so natural home made remedies go long run in compare to the artificial or chemical use these artificial treatment gives instance result but leave lots of side effects, but home remedies have no side effects and give long lasting results.

      Thanks for sharing.
