Tips For Waking Up In The Morning Without Oversleeping

When your alarm goes off first thing in the morning and you still find yourself oversleeping, here are some tips that will help you. Try them out and see which is the one that will make all the difference for you!

* Set your alarm for 15 minutes earlier, so you can hit the snooze button without feeling guilty

* Put your alarm clock further way from you, so it's not withing your reach. This pushes you to actually move from the bed to reach it and stop it. Once you're up, most probably you won't get back to sleep.

* Have 2 alarm clocks, one closer to you, and the other one further away. You'd be surprised how well this works!

* Put a glass of water next to your alarm, so as soon as you hit the alarm, you reach for the glass and drink the water. This should wake you up with ease.

* Keep a dream diary. First set your alarm to go off earlier so you have time for this exercises. Then when you wake up, have your dream diary next to your bed with a pen in it or next to it. As soon as you wake up, write down your latest dream that you've just had. This will not only help you get up in the morning with ease but also help you in learning more about yourself by examining your nightly dreams (and it's fun too!)

Here are some more stress relief tips to wake up fresh in the morning.

Elgin QA Twin Bell Alarm Clock, Silver

If you're tired of the modern looking alarm clocks, and want go to back to the traditional bell alarm clock, this one is for you. While it looks like it needs winding up, but don't worry, it works with batteries.

I love this design as it brings back memories of the times past when I was a kid. This is the same type of alarm clock my parents used to have (theirs needed regularly winding up, so I'm glad this one is with batteries). All in all, a nice nostalgia alarm clock that works as advertised!

I'm such a light sleeper that it's hard for me to imagine that anyone would need a loud alarm clock. My husband, on the other hand, sleeps through the phone ringing in his ear! Thanks for the share!

Loud alarm clocks are good if you're a heavy sleeper. Keeping your alarm at a distance where you'd have to get up or setting multiple ones will give you more motivation to wake up earlier.
