Prenatal Exercises or Best Pregnancy Exercise Videos

Updated on September 9, 2016

Looking for online prenatal exercise videos?

Looking for online prenatal exercise videos? I was as well. I could not find any good ones but thanks to You Tube I did it!

Here are my favorite ones. Please open them in full screen view if you want to do exercises. Bottom right corner, second button from right. I really love Prenatal Bellydance by beautiful Naia. It's a mixture of dance and exercise. You should try!

It's free and no need to go to the gym!

These online videos are really helpful. Especially for working people who don't have time to go to the gym and can do exercise at any time by watching these online videos.

My choice.

The DVD I bought, used and shared with other mommies

Finally I got my prenatal exercise DVD called Prenatal Fitness Fix with Erin O'Brien and I love it. This woman is so energetic and fit...not like me. After my first trial exercise, I understood that I'm not physically fit for my labor as I want to be... My first pregnancy and I gained a lot of weight... I remember I was crying that I'm fat when I was size 12..... I wish I were size 12 again....

So I started exercising at home every second day.. another day I go for a long walk... I decided to do it myself instead of booking exercises with trainer. Prenatal exercises in Dublin are pretty expensive. I paid 14 euros on Ebay for this DVD and I'm happy.

I bought this one

PRENATAL FITNESS FIX

Follow along as prenatal fitness expert Erin O' Brien leads expectant mothers in an invigorating workout designed for both newcomers and experienced yoga practitioners alike. With the option of choosing between a full, forty-minute cardio/toning workout and a twenty-minute partner-assisted workout (for which O'Brien is joined by actor husband (James Denton), this release is will give mothers all the tools needed to birth a happy and healthy child.

My Squidoo readers prefer these 5 DVDs! - Try it!

As I able to track what attracts and what my readers prefer, I can officially say these 5 DVDs are must haves. IF you are not sure about buying, I suggest to look for small DVD trailers on You Tube.

Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga

The best thing about this prenatal yoga program is that there is a model for each trimester. Instructor Shiva Rea demonstrates each of the stretches and exercises for the first trimester, and two pregnant women show modifications for the second and third trimesters (they're even dressed in different colors for easy reference). This removes the self-doubt home-exercisers often have about the safety of certain moves--especially in that cumbersome final stage of pregnancy. Using gentle voice-over instruction, Rea and her assistants take viewers through a half hour of meditational stretches using blocks and chairs for support. She follows that up with 16 minutes of floor work: lunge pose, bridge pose, child's pose, plank pose--all with the necessary adjustments. She winds things up with a four-minute guided relaxation on her back--the traditional position--with the second-trimester woman on her side and the third on her side with one leg up on a chair. By including the different adaptations, Rea has made a program with the flexibility to carry an expectant mom through her entire pregnancy--and beyond, if she wishes. --Kimberly Heinrichs

No, unfortunately not! But I know how beneficial it is and now recommend it to everyone I know who is pregnant!!! It's amazing what an impact it has on the development of the baby, if mum is stressed or relaxed!

I certainly have yoga to thank for helping have a problem-free pregnancy. I just wish I had taken it up before I had my first child!

I went to the gym during my first pregnancy. During my second, I chased around my first child. :) I have a post-natal workout DVD that I used, but now I go back to the gym. My second is 10 months. My first is 25 months. :)
