WHAT IS CELLULITE?

Cellulite is a term that is used to describe the lumpy, dimpled appearance of skin that is caused by fat deposits below the skin’s surface. Usually noticeable in areas of the skin such as in the abdomen, lower limbs, pelvic region, behind the knees, and buttocks. In medical terms, Cellulite is also known as adiposis edematosa, dermopanniculosis deformans, status protrusus cutis, and gynoid lipodystrophy. Some people also refer to it as orange peel syndrome, cottage cheese skin, hail damage, and the mattress phenomenon.

What causes cellulite?

It is not clear as to what causes cellulite, but there are several theories that has been brought forward. Hormonal factors – it is believed that hormones contribute an important role in cellulite development. Such hormones are estrogen, insulin, noradrenaline, thyroid hormones, and prolactin.

Diet factor- people who eat a lot of fat are likely to develop this condition, as fat that are not burned up are stored in the body.

Genetic, hereditary factor-it is believed that genetics can influence cellulite, if it is in the family, even though your exercise regularly this will not prevent it from happening, don’t be in despair if your cellulite is cause by these factors, don’t let t beat you as there are many solutions.

Life style- it has also been noticed that people who smokes and who don’t get involved in physical activities are among those who can develop cellulite.

LASER TREATMENT

LASER TREATMENT

Laser treatment is a great way for you to get rid of cellulite, and you can benefit from it. The laser technique focuses light energy against the fat deposits that has built up under the skin; mainly on the buttocks, belly, around the legs, behind the knees, and upper arm. It is those fibrous connective bands that surround these enlarged fat cells that causes the increase rise to that image-damaging "dimpling". The laser procedure is non invasive, painless with minimal risks, when compared to other surgical procedures. The recovery period is also very very short. The laser destroys the fat deposits and releasing it into the bloodstream. It is therefore required that you exercise too so that you can burn all these excess fat in order to see better results.Maintaining a health life style and exercising regularly will help preventing cellulite from showing up again.

LASER LIPOLYSIS

LASER LIPOLISYS

Lipolysis is another revolutionary technique that has been developed in order to eliminate unwanted fat in the body. This procedure has lower risk than the traditional liposuction. How this is done is that a fine fibre-optic probe is introduced under the skin and delivers low-level laser energy which breaks down fat cells. The laser melts down the fat into an oily liquid form of fat which is then quickly absorbed and eliminated by the body. lipolysis is a good option to remove fat and cellulite as it is less invasive than liposuction causing less damages. Recovery take a day only but you need to refrain from heavy physical activities for one or two weeks.

CELLULITE ULTRASOUND TREATMENT

Cellulite Ultrasound treatment is increasingly becoming more popular, ultrasound has been used in medicine for a long time now as a examination diagnosis tool but now it is being used to treat cellulite. What happen is that the specific radio frequency emitted by the ultrasound machine is used to melt the fat cells so that the body can dispose it. As you can see it is a safe procedure.
