I edited an article that had been Featured for a while, but now it is no longer Featured. What happened?
Whenever an author updates an article, the new content is reviewed. There is no guarantee that edits will improve your article's quality, and this new assessment may determine that the recent edits are not enough to make it Featured.
If this happens to you, do not worry; your efforts to improve your article are not wasted. Consider the change in status as a learning opportunity and try editing again. Trying several different strategies with your edits may help you identify the most effective type of change to focus on. If you get really stuck, post a link to your article in the Improving Your Article Forum. There, other Hubbers are happy to provide feedback and advice. You can also learn more about how to improve your article on our Learning Center.
