34th Birthday of a Late Bloomer
A way to a man’s heart is through his tummy.
This may be true for men but also for women.
1 You need not a car for me to notice you.
2 You need not a big mansion for me to say that you are stable.
3 You need not be an owner or CEO of a company for me to realize that I have a future with you.
4 You are flawed.
5 You have been carrying heavy baggage from your past.
6 We are so much different.
7 We grew up in different worlds.
8 East and West; Asian and Caucasian
Despite the many differences and boundaries, why still choose a man like you?
Our broken pieces fit like one big puzzle with an intricate design.
Your water side can put my fire out but your air can strengthen the light in me.
Who am I to judge a person because of the properties he owns or does not? It is never the brand of car you drive that dictates who you are. Certainly, not the size of the house can guarantee a complete and happy home.

2 I am also carrying a certain weight from my past.
3 I am so much different from you.
4 I have lived in a sheltered far away kingdom and got drowned in fairytale world.
Why then choose a woman like me? I am more a “girl” than the “woman” I am supposed to be at my age.
Why you?
You got my taste buds with the first meal you ever cooked for me. I must admit, your cooking skill is far better than mine. You are the first man ever to do that for me. I was already 31 at that time and have spent most of my time controlling what I eat so I can maintain a certain body weight. With you, I rekindled my love for good food.
And so, our journey began.
