Baby's First Christmas Ornaments

Updated on November 3, 2022

Baby's First Christmas ornaments are collectibles, whether they were designed as such or not. Your children will enjoy putting them back on the tree each year as they grow older. Especially if you've got several -- I had loads of them that were given as gifts way back when. And I really loved looking at them each Christmas, so don't underestimate how special they could be to your child. They do not have to be fancy or expensive, but if you do get a well-made Baby's First Christmas Ornament, it will be more likely to last until they are adults and have their own kids who might enjoy decorating with those same ornaments. I truly wish I had mine still!

Bronze Baby's 1st Christmas Ornament

I chose this one first because it really reminds of me of the old school first Christmas ornaments that were popular back in the 70s and 80s when I was a kid. This one also comes in a silver model, but I think the copper shows the artwork a bit more clearly. It's handmade and measures 3.5 inches. Comes with a giftbox, makes a great gift for the new baby in your world. Made in the USA.

Pearhead Babyprints Ornament

If you're one of those parents who loves to take your baby's prints and stick them all over the house like mine did, you will adore this very cute babyprint Christmas ornament for your child's first Christmas. It's very easy to make and the results are fabulous as you can see. You will not have to mix anything up nor bake anything. Everything you need comes in the box. Just follow the directions and enjoy your Baby's new first Christmas ornament! And of course you can write the year beneath the print if you want to.

Wedgwood 2012 Baby Ornament

What little kid doesn't love the carousel? What adult doesn't love it, for that matter? This is a beautifully designed carousel made for the 2012 Christmas season. It's beyond elegant and yet it will still appeal to children with those lovely horses. This baby's first Christmas ornament is truly a collector's item and you're child will enjoy hanging it on the tree each year as they get older.

Precious Moments Baby's 1st Christmas Ornament

Everyone loves Precious Moments, especially little children, so these make fabulous Baby's First Christmas Ornaments that you can cherish over the years as your child grows up. As you can see this ornament comes in both a boy and girl version, and it's got the date on the little hoodie. Above that, on the hat, it says, "Baby's First Christmas". Made from porcelain and measures 2.4 x 1.6 x 2.8 inches.

Reed & Bartons Baby's 1st Christmas

Now this is quite the keepsake for Baby's First Christmas. This lovely teddy bear is silver plated (weighs 1.6 ounces) and is packaged in a red gift box. The ribbon marks the year so you will always remember baby's first Christmas, and the back can be engraved if you'd like to do so. The cute little building blocks are in blue and pink and say "Baby's First" on the side. Measures 3 x 3.5 x 3 inches.

Hallmark 1st Christmas Ornament

This gorgeous rocking horse ornament from Hallmark is stunning! It says "Baby's 1st Christmas" on the side and has been specially made for the 2012 Christmas season and you'll see the year marked on the rocking horse's saddle. This is a good quality baby ornament that will last a very long time.I love it, it's absolutely adorable!
