You can see that at Amazon, the items list was 39.95 as you stated. That particular seller shows only 3 in stock and with it being so near halloween they can increase the price and expect it to still sell. Scarcity and all that jazz. BUT, if you chose to clickthrough on that item, you would see that 3 other stores on amazon are carrying the item at between 50.00 and 80.00 , which isnt to bad of a mark up especially if the item is no longer being manufactured.
Good Luck! A little research can save a ton of money!
