The Priests is made up of three real-life priests from Northern Ireland: Fathers (and siblings) Eugene and Martin O'Hagan and David Delargy. Talk about spiritually infused singing!

Their "All I Want For Christmas" offering is actually a gift set that includes their Holiday Spirits album from 2008 and Christmas Cheers from 2009. But that's not all... it also includes a "Live in New York: Holiday Edition" DVD. A total of 47 tracks.

3. Holly Happy Days by The Indigo Girls

The Indigo Girls have been performing together since their high school days in Atlanta, Georgia. This American folk rock duo deliver their first holiday album and it's not your normal collection of Christmas songs. Some even have a bluegrass kick to them. Only 3 of the 12 are the holiday standards you'll find on many Christmas albums.

  1. I Feel the Christmas Spirit
  2. It Really Is ( A Wonderful Life)
  3. O Holy Night
  4. Your Holiday Song
  5. I'll Be Home For Christmas
  6. Mistletoe
  7. Peace Child
  8. The Wonder Song
  9. In The Bleak Midwinter
  10. Happy Joyous Hanukkah
  11. Angels We Have Heard On High
  12. There's Still My Joy

4. Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album

Haven't heard Glee? You'd have to be hiding under a rock or not watch TV to have never heard of the tv show Glee. The high notes hit and harmonizing is amazing. This is currently the best selling album on iTunes.

Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album is twelve-songs strong.

  1. We Need A Little Christmas
  2. Deck The Rooftop
  3. Merry Christmas Darling
  4. Baby, It's Cold Outside
  5. The Most Wonderful Day Of The Year
  6. Last Christmas
  7. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
  8. O Christmas Tree
  9. Jingle Bells
  10. You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch (featuring k.d. lang)
  11. Angels We Have Heard On High
  12. O Holy Night

The first two songs have a fast tempo - almost rap. They put their unique spin on some Christmas classics like Jingle Bells and Angels We Have Heard on High. O Holy Night is especially well sung.

Good blend of fast and slow tempos. If you watch Glee on tv you know how well the actors/singers can harmonize.

5. The Gift by Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle captured the world's attention when she sang "I Dream a Dream" on "Britain's Got Talent" in 2009. She released her first album in November 2009. Regardless of how you feel about Susan personally, the woman can sing!

The Gift is Susan's first Christmas album and it includes 10 tunes.

  1. Perfect Day
  2. Hallelujah
  3. Do You Hear What I Hear?
  4. Don't Dream It's Over
  5. The First Noel
  6. O Holy Night
  7. Away In A Manger
  8. Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace
  9. Auld Lang Syne
  10. O Come All Ye Faithful

Of the ten; Perfect Day, Hallelujah and Don't Dream It's Over don't hit me as holiday songs. You can hear samples of each of the songs by clicking the link below:

6. A Merry Little Christmas by Lady Antebellum

Since signing to Capitol Records in 2007, Lady Antebellum has had four number-one singles and won numerous awards - including a Grammy. A Merrly Little Christmas is the first Christmas album from this talented country music trio. $16.99 for 6 songs seems a bit steep.

What you've find on this album are:

  1. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
  2. All I Want For Christmas Is You
  3. Blue Christmas
  4. On This Winter's Night
  5. Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
  6. Silver Bells

You may be better off buying their non-holiday album - Need You Now. 117/136 reviewers gave it a 4+ out of 5 stars at Amazon.

7. O Holy Night by Jackie Evancho

Jackie Evancho is a 10 year-old soprano prodigy.  This CD/DVD includes 2 Christmas classics in English (Silent Night and O Holy Night) along with Panis Angelicus and Pie Jesu.  The DVD includes Jackie's performances on America's Got Talent plus an interview.
