Christmas Time In NYC

New York City is the place to visit anytime but especially at Christmas Time.

Millions of people everyday visit New York City to experience the atmosphere and excitement it offers but at Christmas Time it's extra special.  The city is lit up with decorations and Christmas lights throughout the streets, department stores, hotels and restaurants.  There is always a place open, a place to visit and a place to enjoy a meal or a show while strolling the streets of New York City.  New York City is known for the place that never sleeps.

I felt writing a hub filled with photos and live video footage of New York City at Christmas time for people who are not fortunate enough to visit New York City at such a wonderful time of year would give them a feel of what New York City is all about.  The pictures and videos speak for themselves.

The picture to the right is a photo of Macy's Department Store located around 35TH street. The entire store is decorated for the holidays and each isle is filled with Christmas cheer. A site to see at least once in a lifetime.  Click on the images to view larger image.

Time Square never sleeps and if anything is one of the most active areas in NYC in my opinion. The billboards are digital with constant images, all the stores, restaurants and attraction areas are lit up with lights and millions of people strolling around enjoying all of the activity.  Click on picture to view larger image.

Another hot spot to visit while strolling the streets of New York is Radio City Music Hall. The streets around Radio City Music Hall were all lit up with Christmas lights, decorations and across the street there was a waterfall with huge Christmas Balls were thousands of people were sitting around and strolling the streets while enjoying good times with family and friends.

Another place to visit near the NBC studio is Rockefeller Center in NYC.  Millions of people skating under the Christmas tree with music in the background and all lit up for the holiday season.  You can walk around for hours and probably still not see everything it has to offer.  Huge angels down entire city street directly in front of the ice skating rink which is directly under the Christmas Tree.
