I developed this store with convenience and quality in mind. I love the holidays, but do not enjoy the rush and traffic associated with them. With the advent of the Internet, I have definitely become a virtual shopper over the last 10 years. I use the Internet for almost everything.

I built this store to share my experience with you. I have focused on retailers that I have used over the years or those who I have done extensive research on. These are proprietors that I trust and products that I use. I hope my store saves you time and money.

Tiger has a little of everything

This store is a long time favorite of mine. Tiger has lots of great deals and I love bargains. They carry everything: computers, TV's, phones, components, basically anything electronic. Their shipping is always quick. I have only done one return in the last several years. It was painless and Tiger credited the money back to my credit card the next statement.

This is one of my favorite online places to shop (worth a visit, especially if you have never heard of Tiger before). Check back often, as they run specials almost daily.

Sometimes you just cannot be there

We all want to be everywhere on the holidays. But, that is just not possible. So when you cannot be there, send some fun. They will think of you and have fond memories. There are two gifts that always work: Candy and Popcorn.

M&M's are the clear choice for candy. They are a kid favorite (mine too, especially the peanut ones). They have some cool gift packages and personalization options. Check it out.

Theses are the three most powerful books I have ever read. They will make a large impact on your life.

One Up On Wall Street is a must own. Peter Lynch turns investing into common sense. He teaches you to think creatively and how to use what you know to achieve financial security. This book would be a great gift for a teenager (actually anyone).

There is no parallel to the Napoleon Hill classic Think and Grow Rich. Give the book to someone you love or treat yourself, and watch the transformation. (There is even a Kindle addition available.)

The World's Healthiest Foods is no ordinary cookbook; it is a guide to healthy eating and living. The recipes are great, but the food education is invaluable. There is a whole section on food interaction that is insightful.

These books would make an awesome gift.

These books were written by my Aunt Janet. She is a brilliant author, blending education with fun. She specializes in children's books. Her love for family, friends, and animals definitely shines through in her writing.

Any of these books would make a great present.

There is nothing like beautiful flowers

My Mom is definitely an outdoor person. She loves the sunshine and the flowers that come with it. Wintertime has always been a struggle.

A few years back, I found the perfect gift. It was a way to give her a little bit of sunshine every month. I bought her a flower-of-the-month subscription through 1-800-Flowers. She absolutely loved it. (Not the cheapest gift in the world, but hey it's for Mom.)

Simply the best when it comes to pet supplies (just my opinion). Their reputation is rock-solid and they do a great job. Check out their pharmacy and prescription services while looking around, it can save you lots of money. Plus it is all delivered right to your door.

Any beverage lovers out there

OK, I do not like when the holidays end. So for me, there is nothing like a gift that keeps on giving; something that lasts.

Two things that fit the bill in my family are tea and coffee. My fiancé is the tea drinker and I am the coffee nut. (Ooohhhhhh, there is nothing like a good cup of joe.)

Sometimes a gift card is just the way to go. It is easy, fast and solves the problem of what to buy that difficult person. You can personalize it by brand or give a general card that is accepted everywhere.
