Durga puja is one of the biggest puja in India. On this occasion Devi Durga is worshiped as the goddess of Sakti (power). Mostly people of West Bengal celebrate it with great joy and enthusiasm as it is the main festival of Bengalis. Maa Durga brings love, peace, prosperity, wealth for people as well as the business man also. This festival is a big chance for the businessmen to earn huge money and make profit. Whether it’s an online business or any other business, all wait for this occasion to do a good business.

On this very occasion people use to buy new dresses, shoes and many more things such as bed sheet, bed covers, or utensils and other decorating accessories to decorate houses. Even from a child to an aged person, everyone buys cosmetics also. Traders and businessmen who are involved in these business and trade use to look for a good profit and for this reason they use to supply a huge stock of products to attract customers. From a toy seller to a garment trader, all collect various types of products by following trend, fashion and choice of customers. Even they open all day their shops to sale products even on holidays also. Shopping malls, markets, restaurants, street food stalls are filled up with huge crowed, As the day of festival coming close, crowd of people sometimes overflow on the road for shopping and marketing purpose.

Some travel agencies even offer a package tour for visiting pandels, idols of Devi Durga in city and different places of the state. Many people choose this time for traveling outside of their hometown, even their states. So these travel agencies also offer packages called as puja special package for traveling outside.

Restaurants seem to be filled up with huge crowd of people; even hawkers make temporary food stalls beside roads during puja time and also before puja. Restaurants make new dishes to attract customers and to compete in market. Temporarily many people are appointed to give customers a better service in shops and restaurants which also seems helpful for them to earn money. Even companies and offices give their employees bonus for puja purpose. All offices, companies, schools, colleges seem to be closed during festival days.

Even in case of online business, it seems that all socials sites collect a huge collection of Durga Puja and Dussara scraps, Durga Puja greeting cards, glitter and graphic designed images, Dussara and Durga puja SMS to send. People now also wish their friends, relatives, closed one and others through internet by sending these things. Due to lack of times and long distance it seems sometimes not possible for people to go everywhere or talk over phone to wish, so this is also a good way to make communication all over the world. And in this way these sites are also earning money and during events time it generally earns more than usual time, and durga puja is also one of the these festivals when this sites can earn and profit more and more.
