Easter bunny with pilgrims hat.

How to make pilgrim's hats.

We didn't have a perfect plate for eggs on Thanksgiving day. So, I decided to use this bunny plate with pilgrim hat on it. Since I took the picture of the steps of how I created these hats, I would like to share with you.

Instructions

  1. Things you need: Color papers ( brown, white, yellow ), scissor, glue, tape.
  2. Male hat : Cut the brown paper into circle and make cross cut looks like in the picture. Cut the brown paper rectangle and roll like the top hat and glue. Tape 2 pieces of paper like the pictures. Cut white paper to roll around the hat. Cut yellow paper like belt buckle and glue into the hat.
  3. Female hat : Cut the white paper into oval shape. Cut the slices like in the pictures. Fold the slids like hat and tape on the back. Cut the white paper for the front part of the hat and tape on the the other piece of the paper. Fold and shape into looks like the hat in the picture.

You can make anything with your creativity.

Somebody will say, "This is the way it is. This is the way should be." But sometime you can use your creativity and make it happen your own way.

Somebody might say Easter bunny should not be on the thanksgiving table. But with this little pilgrim hat, it was one of the topic of the conversation at the gathering. In the way, this creativity helped the bunny met the Thanksgiving standard.

Still somebody might say, "This is not right. Easter bunny should not be on the Thanksgiving table." It is OK. People have different opinions. That will create more interesting conversations.

It is great to chase the perfection. The satisfaction to achieve the perfection will be the wonderful thing. But sometime chasing the perfection make you exhausted and stressful.

If you didn't have an egg holding plate with turkey design, do you drive up to the store and get it on Thanksgiving day or do you use something you have and enjoy your time with your family and friends?

I choose to use something I have and used my creativity to fit the decoration needs and I am happy with it. (Smile)

A little bit of looseness in your life might help change your view of other people.
