As I pray each day
To see just another
Sunrise
I am not waiting
For 2012, the 13th
Day of May.
For some surprise
Giving sincere thanks
To the Most High
God
For the blessings
That he gave me
Am never sad.
Keeping my mother
Safe and sound
Planting her feet
On solid ground
I not waiting for May
To come around
Not having hopes
For just one day
But I’ll keep on
Showing her the Love
In every way
Every day
Through rain
or shine
Come what may
I love you Mother
Don’t change
a thing
The joy to me
Your presence
Brings
Makes Mother’s
day is Everyday
I would not have it
Any other way.
I usually listen
To everything they
Tell me
Oh yes I listened

Still pray for those

I fell in love
On Valentines Day
St.Patrick comes up
He ran away
Fourth of July came
Took the place by
Storm
One day for my
Mother
Then it’s all gone

That will never work
For me.
Am sorry
Don’t want to be
Like everybody.
Go to church every Sunday
Work every Monday
And Tuesday
And Wednesday
And Thursday
They on Friday again.
Mother’s Day
Is every day
Whether the sun is
Shining
Or it’s pouring rain
Don’t care a word
What anyone may say
Trying to tell me
I must wait till May
2012 of another year?
Wait to send her a card
How can that justify
That’s rather sad
I expect my mom
To be here even then
But I have today
With mother don’t need
Someone to tell me when
Don’t have to wait
Till I get my paid
For me
