Billybuc & Bravewarrior, thank you for stopping by & commenting today. ;-) I don't necessarily have a nanny either. However, my sister does watch my kids often so that my husband and I can have an occasional date night. Aside from paying her we try to buy her tickets to events that she might enjoy as a thank you gift. In this way, I think she knows that we really appreciate her. ;-) Y'all have a wonderful day hubbing. Sincerely, Mel

Mel, I don't have a nanny nor did I when my son was young. Nevertheless, I had to read your post because, well - you posted it!

It's always nice to show appreciation to those who make our life easier, especially those who take care of our kids while we work outside the home.

You have a very sweet heart.

Well, we are way beyond nannies now, but still waiting for grandchildren. Good suggestions here for those who need it.
