Gifts Of Good Taste For Your Christmas Stocking
Wonderful Festive Stocking Fillers
The weather's turning cold and the nights are drawing in,so I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite festive gift things!
On Christmas Eve after having been to the traditional Cathedral family service I truly start to feel that magical festive feeling!I share in the excitement and anticipation of what Father Christmas will bring my children on Christs' Birthday and we embark on our family ritual which consists of going out into our front garden and shaking the magical glitter and oat mix for Santas' Reindeer's, so that they will be able to see where to land and not forgetting the all important carrot for Rudolph and a glass of milk or sherry for Santa(I always cheer him on at this point and enjoy a tipple myself, after all Christmas has been coming for approx 6 weeks now and I am well and truly ready for it by now or at least will be once I've sorted those wonderful festive stockings!)
In my childrens' Christmas Stockings this year and in no particular order(which ever fits in first best, but exception to tangerine and chocolate,they are always to be found at the bottom of the stocking!) I will predict the top 10 following items:
- Tangerine
- Chocolate coins
- Cds'
- Watch
- Earings
- Hair accessories
- Socks & Knickers
- Pens/pencil case/coloured pencils
- Money
- Book
I don't have a top 10 for adults but for my husbands' stocking I can confidently predict what might appear in it :
- Terrys' Orange
- Tangerine
- After shave(perfume yet to be decided, I must bob into town and sample some to see what I like best!)
- CD
- Underpants/socks
- Gift voucher
And for myself I can predict the following items:
- Chocolate
- Tangerine
- Perfume
- Luxury lingerie

Once the festive scene has been set the christmas stockings finally filled and placed over the mantle piece in our lounge; I check on Father Christmas (mince pie and carrot gone,sherry finished off!) the time has got to midnight; I 'm ready for bed and the house with all the wonderful festive fragrances,decorations,lights and cards is looking its' best, I then take a photo or video as in 6 hours time the house will become a mess ; a playground again for my three lovely children and then of course they might be taking photo's of me with their new camera or mobile phone!
