How to Wrap an odd shaped gift

Updated on February 21, 2014

There are times when you do not have a box to put your odd shaped gifts in; this is just one way to wrap a packaged flashlight or any other odd shaped gifts.

You will need:

Wrapping paper

Xmas Ribbon

Lay wrapping paper down flat, start by laying your packaged flashlight 4" from edge of paper and in the middle.

Pick up 4" edge and while sliding the package over cover the package leaving at least 2" past the packages edge, this is your cut line.

You can either draw a light pencil line to cut or just eyeball your straight cut.

After you have finished cutting fold over cut edge onto package.

Next fold over other edge and tape.

Now flatten down the paper ends of package, fold each corner to the center, take top of fold and fold half ways down.

Then fold again to package and tape.

To finish your wrapped gift tie with ribbon and bow.
