Hull Fair: Nice And Quiet During The Day
Big Wheel At Hull Fair
Hull Fair Comes But Once A Year
Hull fair is one thing that I was very happy to go to as a kid, it was bright and colourful with all of the fair lights and the sights and smells of the fairground, candyfloss, burgers, fish and chips, hotdogs and doughnuts.
Seeing Hull fair at the night time is what is best, but this year I thought about visiting it during the day, just to see if it brought back memories of walking around there on a Sunday as a child and it did, the fairground rides were getting tested by engineers and the whole fairground was closed, but you could still have a walk around and just imagine what it would be like on the night with all the noise of people and the music thumping.
At a distance from our house in the night sky you can see the laser lights shining in the night sky and hear a faint sound of music in the distance, but always you can smell Hull fair too with the food and the chestnuts roasting over there.
Hull fair is really quiet during the day as a few stalls are open to sell nougat, fudge, candy floss and brandy snap and whatever else and you can walk all the way around without having to stop, actually if I was to go one year I would prefer to walk around like I have done this year, so that I know where everything is, so that I can make my way through the fairground and find the best bits.
The photos below are of Hull fair during the day and it was sunny too which made the photos turn out good, so take a look and imagine you're at the Fair!
