I am Drunk
How intoxicated am I?
Well I would have to say I am so intoxicated with Vodka that I am surprising myself that I can still type coherently, or maybe not, I'll check in the morning!
You may be thinking why on earth is the stupid cow writing inebriated? Because I really couldn't give a monkeys how people judge me. I long since let go of that feeling, and you know what? It is such a feeling of freedom. Let yourself go!
Why do I get drunk? Because I work from 6 am until midnight at being a mother and on line writer and worker. So by the weekend and when my kids are safely tucked up in bed, the bottle comes out and I chill out!
My main culprit is Vodka, it is low in calories so the only guilt I have is the hangover rather than the calorie content. I drink it with diet coke.
Why do people drink, why do I drink?
Well I have four children so the only way I can afford to relax is with a drink on a Saturday or Friday night, or both some times. I don't trust any one else with my children and think they are still safer with me at home having a drink than with some one I don't really know whilst I am out. My children have never been left with any one but a family member, and that is a rare occasion.
The reason I drink is I work flippin hard all week and I deserve a break on weekends. I am still not off duty even then. But at least I am treating myself.
I choose to drink Vodka because it is the lowest calorific drink I know, as I drink it with diet coke as I have already said. It shocks me how much sugar is in all other female drinks.
So my message is, go have fun, have a merry weekend and enjoy yourself my friends. Life is way too short!!
