For me like many others I have simply not had the opportunity to collect Barbie Dolls but oh, if I could - the selection is almost endless. My two top choices are the Holiday series and the porcelain Barbies. I can visualize the Holiday series in most any Christmas display - white gowns flowing in the white scenes, the plush red velvet dresses under the tree or contrasting with the lighted dark green ceramic tree. The ultimate would be to have so many of the Holiday Barbies to put the china away for the Holiday season only and replace with Holiday Barbies. These are the things that frivolous dreams are made of - but isn't that the purpose of our imagination. Remember the famous tag line - Calgon Take Me Away! So too, with Barbie Dolls we can dream a little bit, be transported to a simply time with more elegant and romantic clothing. A mini vacation that the mind takes from time to time - courtesy of a memorable gift from you!

Just as John Lennon so wisely said to us the 1960s showed us a "glimpses of the possibility" so too our Barbie dolls transcend our reality and take us to a new place, a place of tranquility, a place of relaxation, a place of security and complete bliss.

The Barbie Dolls to females is the muscle car to the men. The baby boomer generation flocks to nostalgia and rightfully and wisely so. We need to dream dreams, to remember we share Lennon's glimpse of possibility!  What better way than to build memories with a purchase of a Barbie doll!
