St. Patrick's Day, what a fun holiday. It is a day to honor Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It has become a day for Irish people to celebrate their heritage. St. Patrick's Day has become so popular that people from all cultures and heritage celebrate it on March 17.

What would St. Patrick's Day be without some Irish themed cocktail drinks? If you can't get out to a pub on St. Patrick's Day or have decided to host your own St. Patrick's Day party, don't just settle for green beer. (Although that's also fun!)

Here are some more Irish drink recipes for St. Patrick's Day to give your party some extra pizzazz!

Blend until creamy. Pour into a margarita glass. Add chocolate curls or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, if desired.

Irish Mint Kiss

Ingredients:

2 parts Bailey's Irish Cream (or whichever brand you prefer)

1 part cream (use milk if you must, but cream is better)

My father was the first Murphy to break the Irish drinking trend in my family, so I must try the Lucky Limey for my "Plastic Paddy" celebrations this year. After all who doesn't need a little more luck? At least I know the "Limey" won't leave me "green" in the mornin'.

Bonnie, I agree that Sex on the Beach is a great drink, but I haven't had one on St. Patrick's Day. I have had the traditinal green beer, though.

Great hub and delicious drink recipes! My hubby, being of Irish descent, just loves the Bailey's. I am more of the Lucky Limeys type LOL. That, I love!

many of the bars color all their drinks on St. Patty's day. I have had a green "sex on the beach" in a bar before. How goood it was, too! Thanks for the recipes!
