It Was The Night Before Christmas (Hubpages Version)
It was the night before Christmas here on Hubpages you see, some hubbers are franticly trying to publish one more hub, so they can spend Christmas day with the ones they love. And many hubbers are hanging out at the Learning Center, just singing Christmas songs all night long, and some are toasting marshmallows by the fire side.
And outside the snow is still falling so heavy has we all wonder how Hubpage Santa will see through it all, we have all hung our stockings by the fireplace, some are so fancy they even have lace. We hope Hubpage Santa will fill them to the brim, with all of the good things that only he can.
But before we all know time has slipped away, and the clock has struck midnight, it is now Christmas day. And after the last chime has rung, we hear from afar what sounded like sleigh bells and reindeer chatter, could it be Hubpage Santa ! And with a clang and a bang and bump, and reindeer hoofs that go a thump, Santa safely brings the sleigh to a stop, right on Hubpages roof top.
And we hear a jolly laughter coming down the stairs, it’s Hubpage Santa he’s here, he’s here! He tell all us hubbers to close our eyes while he fill our stockings with his surprise. And in a flash he off again with sleigh bells ringing and reindeers riding the wind, has we hear him say Enjoy all the ideas and write, write, write. And to our delight when we open our eyes our stocking are filled with idea after idea, enough to write new hubs throughout the New Year .
And with that we all held hands and sang one last song, about peace on earth and good will to all mankind, like only hubbers can at Christmas time. And then we all went to sleep for the night, slowly drifting into sweet dreams that last through the night. And tomorrow after you have open all your gifts and had your Christmas dinner please remember this, we the hubber are the lucky ones, for we have Hubpages the greatest place to write, and with that my friends I will say, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night !
