Mother's Day A Poem
Mother’s Day comes once a year
Let us all hold ours so dear
Even if they are no longer here
We can remember them all year
There’s not a day that goes by
That I do not remember mine
Only having her for a few short years
She’s in my heart and always near
My Mothers favorite flower was
The delicate yellow daffodil
In honor of her, I made
Stained glass ones to gently sway
Hanging in a window array
Looking out into the garden
In the springtime, you can see
Daffodils I’ve planted
For her from me
I know that she did not want to die
But it was her time to say goodbye
She’s an angel looking down on me
Until we meet for an eternity
