CKSC 73rd Foundation Day

I have in the past attended the school fair held in CKSC -- that's the acronym for Chiang Kai Shek College located in Manila. Boy, that was eons ago! How time flew by indeed! Just this past weekend, I was given another chance to attend another one of its fair. It's the celebration of the school's 73rd Foundation Day. My niece was simply too excited to go. Last year, she and my daughter were also able to go, but they were both accompanied by my brother. This year, we decided to go on a Friday, so I was the only other adult who had time enough to spare to go with both girls. ^_^

Here is a fun account of the said day when the girls go out to play! LOL ^_^

The Rides

Well, i was the official photographer of the girls so I didn't go with them on the rides. It was actually quite fun watching all the kids run around the school grounds.

Early on, my daughter and niece decided to try each ride twice, with the exception of the huge Inflatable Slide. That one seems more suitable for younger children. There was a line at the Octopus ride, but they decided to try that one first. I think they like it the best. I never did get to enjoy the Octopus. I remember having ridden it at least once in my younger days.

Then, they tried the Caterpillar. That one didn't have such a long line. I guess a lot of the bigger kids and teens think it's a little too lame to ride. But personally, next to the Roller Coaster, the Caterpillar was my next favorite ride.

Unfortunately, the Ferris Wheel somehow stopped working before they were able to try it. Instead, the girls used their tickets to get extra rides at the previous two rides I've already mentioned.

It was a great day! The sun was hidden behind the clouds for most of the time. We even thought it would somehow drizzle, but it didn't. So we definitely enjoyed the school fair.
