11. Dunkin Donuts
What you get: free medium beverage of your choice.
What’s the catch: You have to create a DD Perks Rewards account. Just submit your contact information along with your email address. Don’t forget to include your birthday!
12. Culver’s
What you get: a free sundae
What’s the catch: You have to join “The Club”. To join the eClub, just head to their website and fill in your first and last name, email address and birthday. If you want to join the Text club, you will also need to supply your mobile phone number. However, you don’t have to purchase anything in order to get your free sundae. Just let them know you have a coupon for a free birthday sundae.
13. International House of Pancakes (commonly referred to as IHOP)
What you get: a free meal
What’s the catch: All you have to do is join the Pancake Revolution. Just submit your first name, last name, email address, date of birth and zip code. After selecting your preferred location, you have the option of adding a family member or you can skip that step.
14. Chili’s
What you get: a free brownie sundae
What’s the catch: There IS no catch! All you have to do is let the server know it’s your birthday, and they’ll bring the dessert out to you. However, if you would also like a coupon for free chips and queso, you can sign up for their email club.
15. Jersey Mike’s Subs
What you get: free sub and drink
What’s the catch: If you sign up for their email club, you’ll receive a coupon for your sub and drink via email. Make sure you sign up at least a week BEFORE your birthday. Otherwise you won’t get the coupon until the following year.
16. Houlihan’s
What you get: a free entree
What’s the catch: All you need to do is go to their website and join their email club. You’ll need to submit your first and last name, your email address, your birthday, your gender (not sure why they need that), your favorite location, and when you prefer to go to the restaurant.
17. Caribou Coffee
What you get: a free medium drink
What’s the catch: You’ll have to sign up for their email card. Start by entering your email address and zip code. Then you’ll be directed to their Preference Center, which resembles a questionnaire. You can opt to include only your first and last name, your birthday, and your communication preference (so you can receive your coupon). Don’t forget to click “customize my email” or it won’t save your information.

What you get: free ice cream cone
What’s the catch: Just join their VIP Club. Submit your first and last name, your email address, your birthday and your zip code. Please note: if there is no Marble Slab near you, you won’t be able to sign up.

What you get: free cookie dough with the purchase of any pizza
What’s the catch: As long as you join their eClub, you’ll receive the cookie dough. Just submit your first and last name, along with your email address, birthday and zip code. You may provide your cell phone number if you want text messages, but it’s optional. However, if you do sign up for text messages, you will receive a coupon for free cookie dough with the purchase of a pizza

What you get: a free gift up to $24 value
What’s the catch: All you have to do is sign up for their email program. You just provide you email address, your first name, and your birthday.
