Make a schedule and plan for Thanksgiving. Decide on the Thanksgiving menu, figure out which chores need to be done, find out how many guests are arriving, and any other important information you will need before Thanksgiving.

After your plan is made up for Thanksgiving, call your guests. Ask if there are any dishes they would like to volunteer to bring. Most people have a particular recipe that they are particularly proud of and would love to bring to show off. This helps reduce your cooking responsibilities for Thanksgiving dinner. If money is tight, this can also help reduce stress during Thanksgiving immensely.

There are many recipes that you can make this way and save yourself a lot of time and stress on Thanksgiving Day. On the subject of recipes, if you decide to try new Thanksgiving recipes, be sure to test them out before Thanksgiving Day. No since in causing Thanksgiving stress by finding out a new recipe is a disaster.

Holiday Cleaning Tips to Reduce Stress

When you start cleaning for Thanksgiving, make sure that you don't try to do it all yourself. Delegate cleaning chores for Thanksgiving to other family members as well. If you can afford it and time is running out, hire a cleaning service to help you out.
