Make a schedule and plan for Thanksgiving. Decide on the Thanksgiving menu, figure out which chores need to be done, find out how many guests are arriving, and any other important information you will need before Thanksgiving.

After your plan is made up for Thanksgiving, call your guests. Ask if there are any dishes they would like to volunteer to bring. Most people have a particular recipe that they are particularly proud of and would love to bring to show off. This helps reduce your cooking responsibilities for Thanksgiving dinner. If money is tight, this can also help reduce stress during Thanksgiving immensely.

On the subject of recipes, if you decide to try new Thanksgiving recipes, be sure to test them out before Thanksgiving Day. No since in causing Thanksgiving stress by finding out a new recipe is a disaster.
