• Non-Toxic Sippy Cups from Sigg - I love Sigg water bottles for adults but recently found out they have a handle attachment and mini Siggs that are perfect for kids. Throw out that plastic sippy cup and get a Sigg!
• Organic Baby Clothes by Kate Quinn Organics - these are 100% organic cotton baby and children's clothes. They also sell bedding and bath products. Organic cotton is important since cotton that is bleached with chlorine can irritate a baby's sensitive skin
• Non-Toxic Toys by Melissa & Doug - after reading Ren Chin's hub about plastics and the scary news about lead in toys from China, i started looking for some alternatives for my nephews. Melissa & Doug's toys include everything from stuffed animals to trains to puppets and they are all non-toxic and made in the US. Many of their products can be found on Amazon.com

• Bambu Bowls, Cutting Boards and Trays - these are great house warming gifts and very reasonably priced, sustainably forested bamboo products. They are sold on Amazon, Crate & Barrel and at some Whole Foods stores
• Bio-dynamic Wine from Quintessa Vineyards - this is a great wine maker from Rutherford, California that uses no pesticides

• Organic Dog & Cat Treats by Heidi's Homemade - these are certified organic by the USD. She even makes treats for horses!
• Non-Toxic, Sustainable Pet Toys by PurrfectPlay - these toys are all handmade in Indiana and use recycled, fair trade materials instead of nasty, toxic plastic toys
• All Natural Pet Shampoo by Earth Bath - if you read my hub about parabens and body products you know that many common shampoos and soaps contain toxic chemicals. These same chemicals are found in most pet shampoos but EarthBath are 100% biodegradable and free of toxic preservatives

• European Sleep Works - The company is based in Berkeley, CA and makes organic mattresses and pillows. Most mattresses, furniture and pillows are treated with a toxic flame retardant chemicals. I know several people who swear by this pillow
• Jewelry from Green Karat or Brilliant Earth - both companies use free trade materials, conflict free diamonds and use recycled metals
