Diwali is also known to be the festival of lights. Cleaning the house and illuminating it with beautiful and colorful lights is the most important part of this festival. The home looks really beautiful and our mind also fills up with renewed energy. We are now ready to welcome guests and treat them lavishly with gorgeous Diwali gifts. But you must have planned something attractive for the man of your house, i.e., your husband. We would help you with Diwali gift ideas for husband in the following paragraph.

  1. Book an exotic holiday package by surfing various travel websites. Diwali is the time when offices remain closed for some time and even when it is not off, you can urge him to take a week long-off. Vacations are really required to relax and rejuvenate your soul.
  2. Why not take him to a spa and treat him? Spa treatment is very essential for all of us. Once a month in spa would make you feel one year younger. So, this is one of the best Diwali gift idea for husband.
  3. If he is fond of sweet dishes, prepare all types of sweet dishes for each and every day of Diwali festival. Custard, cake, gajar ka halwa, Sewai, Falooda, etc. The list is an endless one.
  4. Personalized gift items are also best for this season of Diwali. You can get a personalized lamp shade for your husband and make him happy. Choose the most handsome picture of him and get the gift ready for your husband before Diwali knocks.
  5. Among food, you can prepare his favorite platter like biriyani, chicken tikka masala, rolls, kebabs and enjoy a lovely evening.
  6. Like any other guy, he also must be having a good sense of booze. So, how about a dose of Chivas? Come on this is the world’s best brand of scotch and he would be simply smitten by this gift from you.
  7. A personalized T-shirt with a funny quote would be another great idea to impress him on Diwali.
  8. An antique show piece like “Aladdin’s magic lamp” would be a quirky one for your hubby.
  9. A travel bag for him is another meaningful and useful gift.
  10. Diwali is all about illuminating the home so that the bright lights enters your mind and body as a ray of hope and diminishes all the dark corners. A book is actually that light which when read opens many locked gates of your mind and you become wiser. Send Diwali gifts online by selecting some of the motivational books ever written like: The Magic, the Hero, Who will cry when you die, or the monk who sold his Ferrari.

We celebrate many festivals in India and among them, Diwali is a big festival around 10 to 15 days.

I enjoy this more because I like to go to our relatives' home, lights, sweets. It's also a festival of sweets, gifts and visiting each other's home.

It's a festival of Lord Raama who came home from the forest after 14 years. So, that time people welcomed him with lights of Diyas which made from clay.

We light in our home and outside with candles and Diyas.

Thanks for reading this and your precious words.

Merry Christmas to you and your relatives.

One other matter is that our new year begins in Diwali.

      Happy New Year...

Great article. I never heard the Diwali festival of lights. But, I deck my house out with a ton of lights during Christmas. I decorate the inside and outside of my home with lights. I have a theme of reindeer this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Purvi!
