Make Your Bed Day
Celebrate Making Your Bed
Can you believe there is a National Make Your Bed Day? It's September 11th. Such a not your normal holiday right? It's one of those wacky holidays on the calender that is not very well known about but you sure could make this a fun day.
Its take only 5 minutes to fluff the pillows, pull up the sheets and smooth them out. Then neatly pull up the comforter to make it look pretty. Throw on a few fun pillows and your bed is made. This is a good chore to teach your kids on how to do; even the significant others we live with. It sure doesn't take long to make your bed look all made up. Having it made will look even more inviting at when you crawl in instead of it being messy. I know I like my sheets and blankets straightened out when I go to bed.
In this article I'd like to celebrate by sharing photo's of my bed from my high school days. I went to a christian academy where I lived in a girls dorm. Back then we'd decorate our beds with stuffed animals and pillows. Since I'm a cow collector I use to like cow comforter styles. A friend from those special academy days made me a comforter later in years after graduation. She found a blue background cow print to make the comforter with. I even had curtains to match.
Happy Bed Making Day!!
