I hate shopping, especially for the holidays! It isn't so much spending money that bothers me. It really is the crowds and the rushing around. And I never know seem to know what to get as a gift for someone. So a few years ago, I started doing a majority of my shopping online. Talk about convenient! By shopping online, I can shop while I am wearing my pajamas and enjoying a nice hot cup of tea. I get to sit back, relax, and shop.

But often after searching through pages and pages on amazon.com (my favorite place to shop) I often find myself stumped with what to purchase. So I typically just decide to go the easy way and buy an online gift card. Online Gift Cards make it easy for people to shop and buy what they want. Everyone is happy.

They get to choose what they want and I get to be stress free, which is awesome! Usually I give the easy and convenience amazon gift card but if I have someone on my list who has a favorite store, like my Dad who loves Home Depot, I just buy gift cards online at amazon.com.

Amazon has just about every department store gift card, like Kohls and Target. But they also have many restaurant gift cards like Starbucks or even subway gift cards. Regardless of what kind of card you decide to get, just rest assured that you will have a stress free shopping experience.

Before you give a department store gift card as a gift... Make sure that there is a location near where your person lives. Or at least make sure that there is a website online that they can purchase from.

One year I received a Cracker Barrel Gift card. Great except the nearest Cracker Barrel is located in another state. It was really a useless gift for us. But no worries. I just found someone who lived near a Cracker Barrel and re-gifted it to them. They were happy and I was happy.

So make sure the receiver can actually use the Christmas gift card you are giving them.
