Ladybug, Bee and Dragonfly Costumes

Ladybugs are one of my favorite insects. They are such colorful and beneficial bugs. I also adore dragonflies and bees and have always welcomed them into the garden. Because of this, I thought it would be fun to dress up as a ladybug, bee or a dragonfly for Halloween or Mardi Gras.

There are so many adorable ladybug costumes for women, children, babies and even the dog. I also found some bee outfits that really had a sting and some lovely dragonfly costumes as well as others that would be perfect for the little ones.

Ladybugs, also called ladybird beetles are colorful little bugs that eat aphids in the garden. The imported Asian variety can be bothersome because it winters in houses, however our native ladybugs are the farmer's friend.

Of course the family dog should come along. Beetles stay together. This is so cute. I wish my cockerspaniel, 2nd Chance, would let me put costumes on him.
