Flameless Tealights For Halloween
While out and about shopping for Halloween I found these flameless tealights. I've seen them but never tried them so I thought why not give them a try. When I got home I pulled the safety plastic tab where the little switch is; then I turned it on. It came on as a flickering flame just like a real flame is. I started out by putting one in my milk jug ghost. It lit up the jug really well. I thought it was pretty neat so I tried them in some of my other pumpkin ghost candle holders. They are fabulous and safe. Most of all safe! I'm ready to go back for more to put in the rest of my Halloween candle holders.
Mine are a orange bottom with a flickering yellowish flame. You can also get them in a white base as well. They are battery operated and take a cell battery. Depending on how many you need; you can get a decent size package of them for a great price for your Halloween season. I would think replacing the cell batteries could be a bit spendy so getting them low cost would be the way to go. That way you can decide whether to throw them away when they burn out or just buy another package of them. That would be up to you. I just turn them on in the evening; then off when I go to bed that way it saves on the battery.
Three things I love are that they are simple to use, cost effective and you won't burn your house down. I'm really glad I tried them. I'll be in investing in these more often!
