When it comes to the Holidays, have you remained traditional?
Have you continued Holidays as your parents did? Did they leave tradition, and you went back, or do you have your own traditions?
Yes, definitely remained traditional. that's what makes the holiday season so special. It's like going back to when you were a kid and being wrapped up in a big warm family blanket. So we do the Turkey and trimmings, hang some of the very same decorations on the tree that we did 40 years ago when I was small, and try and recreate the experience I had for my own kids.
Some remained traditional, but I always like to try something new all the time along with what I'm used to.
We had a large family when I was growing up and money was tight. So often many feelings were hurt when some of us kids recieved gifts more than others. I try to stray away from the gifts being the reason of celebrating.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Holiday, just "some" of the tradition we grew up with was hard.
