How is it decided when easter is?
It seems that it is always falls on a different date.
Easter is not set on a fixed date since it is a feast holiday based on the lunisolar calendar. Historically it is the first Sunday after the full moon that directly follows the vernal equinox. The vernal equinox falls on March 21 approximately but can vary depending on region.
Eastern Orthodox Christians use the original Julian calendar to calculate the date, which can vary by about four days or more.
