    All four of my children (2 boys, 2 girls) enjoyed building blocks, coloring books and crayons (large ones), story books (such as Golden Books) and record/tape players especially designed for toddlers as they also liked to dance and hear stories on audio.

      I put the CD player on in the bedroom where the closets and the walls are lined with mirrors, and my two-year-old granddaughter plays dress-up and dances all around to the music.

    Depending if boy or girl.My boys loved cars,trucks and crafts and there little four wheeler by fisher price.My daughter it is baby dolls,crafts leap frog iPad.Any thing to do with education is all ways good and you can never have to many books!!

      We got our granddaughter a tablet when she was about 18- months- old, but she is going to play with it for years to come. She was just so interested in Mom and Dad's devices, it only seemed right that she have one too.

    An adult who loves them so much that they place spending time with the child above many, many other things; a parent willing to teach the child how to play and discover the amazing pleasures of a world that surrounds them.
