Today's weddings come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Do remember what's important, that the wedding is mere minutes in a lifetime with a spouse and that each spouse's family is far more important in the relationship than is usually acknowledged. Don't fall into the traps of businesses that specialize in weddings or the trap of thinking that a wedding must measure up to expectations of others, but for the benefit of the couple's relationship let the planning be an opportunity for growth into a maturity that has a focus on the future.
Very good advice! It is true that a wedding is just one day out of a lifetime with that person. One can spend so much on just one day where I am trying to make cuts wherever I can to make it as affordable as possible but still keep it special!
