I am getting ready to celebrate my 30th valentine's day as a single. Well that's my age and I never ever had a girlfriend. I love girls but for some reason have never been good on the romantic side with them. Happy Valentine to All.

Hey, it's okay.  As cagsil said, Valentine's day is a bit over rated anyways.  I know how you feel though sid, as I'm 30 myself and have been single all my life.  Don't get me wrong, I have been with a few women in my life, but many of them I wouldn't call my girlfriend in the traditional sense.  I would elaborate what i mean by that, but it's a long and depressing story that i don't think you'd want to be bored to death listening to.  lol  Anyways, I wouldn't feel so bad.  Plus, who said valentine's day had to be holiday just for couples?  You can always ask to hang out with your friends that are single also to celebrate and have a good time.  Or if you have like a lonely family member like your mom, cousin, sibling, father, or whatever that you know of that's going to be alone on valentine's day.  why don't you spend the day with them then. I'm sure they'd appreciate your company.

Or you could do what I plan on doing this valentine's day.  Just watch a movie, and maybe go out somewhere to get a bite to eat.  More than likely it'll be a place that i usually go to.  I can't say where exactly, but lets just say the waitress I see there is cute, so I know I'll have a great time talking to her.  Although I doubt she sees me as anything more than a regular of hers, it still feels good to talk to a cute girl in person, you know what I mean? That's what I have planned anyways.  I know that doesn't sound like much, but screw everyone that doesn't like those plans.  lol tongue j/k

I am now pushing my 7th year, where I will have no one on Valentine's Day. However, I am 42 and single, so that would make good sense why. lol

Besides, Valentine's Day is usually over-rated unless it's done superbly by both sides of a couple. wink

Take yourself out to dinner, cozy up to a bar, pick out individual ladies within the bar, and buy them a drink with no strings attached. It will warm your heart by watching them smile. smile tongue big_smile
