Gifts for Creative Kids

Updated on October 30, 2014

Creativity for Kids

My granddaughters recently received a Creativity for Kids project and I was able to share it with them. This company makes a wide selection of great craft kits that encourage children to use their imagination while having fun making an interesting project.

Whenever I visit my granddaughters we like to make projects together. Crafts are great activities for us to work on and enjoy together. Working together on projects builds memories for me and I hope for them too.

On this page I will be sharing information on our latest project Enchanted Fairy Garden and also show you some of the other items that Creativity for Kids has to offer.

photo is my oldest granddaughters, Rachel and Ella, working on their project.

Enchanted Fairy Garden - gift for creative kids

My granddaughters loved this gift that they received from their Aunt Laura for their 6th and 8th birthdays. I was visiting soon after their birthdays, so I helped them to put the fairy gardens together. Everything they needed came in one kit with easy to follow instructions. It was a two day project, so the first day they painted the containers and the little toadstools and rocks and we set them out to dry overnight. The next day we added the soil and seeds and decorated the garden with the painted toadstools and rocks. The girls really enjoyed the entire process. The instructions encouraged them to use their imaginations as they painted each item and also in the placement of the seeds.

One thing I really liked about the project was that the excitement for the girls continued for weeks after the project was completed as they carefully watered their plants and watched them grow. The kit contained fast growing seeds so that in just a couple of days the girls could see their plants grow. I was back home by that time and they called me several times and they were so excited to tell me how much the plants had grown.

Have you ever tried any of the Creative Kids kits?
