What You Will Need:

1 can of croissant rolls

1 pack of you favorite brand hot dogs

A little mustard or ketchup- your choice

Step 1. Open the croissant rolls and roll the dough out so that it is one single sheet. It should be rectangle shaped. Lightly roll or press the dough so that the pre-cut lines are joined back together.

Step 2. Use a pizza cutter (or sharp knife) to cut the dough into 1/4 inch strips. Continue until the dough has been cut.

Step 3. Next, wrap the dough strips around the hot dogs, one at a time, starting at the bottom. When you reach the top, leave a gap for the eyes and continue on up. If you run out of dough before finish the hot dog simply add another strip to finish it off.

For more crispy mummies, wrap in a single layer of dough with each piece laid tight against the edge of the previous piece but not over lapping. For more flaky mummies with more breading, slightly overlap each piece.

Step 4. Once your Halloween Mummies are all wrapped, place them on a cookie sheet or shallow baking pan and bake according the directions on the croissants. Watch them closely in the oven and remove them when they are golden brown. Allow them to rest for 1 to 2 minutes and then move them to a plate, platter, or serving dish.

Step 5. Once your mummies are cooled, create the eyes with dots of mustard or ketchup!

Step 6. Serve and enjoy!
