It is a Scary Story and it's Free!
A True Scary Story from My Life:
The following is truly a scary story: The occasion is Halloween and I have had a terrible horrible no good very bad day--so far. First of all, I accidentally deleted my oldest and top-ranked article on the web because of a boo on my computer. My husband also set off the smoke alarms in the house by starting the "needing-a-tuneup" riding lawnmower inside the garage. I have also been stuck on Level 168 of Candy Crush for what seems to be weeks. Just when I was about to beat it (and drastically relieve my stress level), my battery died on the MacBook!
Goblins are definitely working in my world. HOWEVER, it is scary how good things do happen when your day is a horror story! I found a free, downloadable Halloween book for the Kindle on Amazon! Wow!
My husband loves to tell the grand children scary stories (that is a link to a page with his tips for telling children scary stuff), and low and behold, I found "No Way Out -And Other Scary Short Stories for Halloween"! A Free treat for this scary-story-telling grandpa!
So click on the free ebook for your Kindle before it disappears like my top ranked page!
Review of No Way Out:
This books was easily downloaded from Amazon. I glanced through it and saw a few words (like "butt-wad") that you might not want the young children in your family using. Basically, this book is for older children, say 11 years and older. If you download it, read and decide if you want to keep it. After all, it is free.

The key word for one of the books below is FUN. Yes, 21 FUN Halloween stories for the faint of heart! This book is for ages 4 to 8 years of age.
I got this last year for grandpa for his Halloween storytelling!
"Grandpa's Scary Stories"
No, not my grandchildren's Grandpa. I found this series of three scary story videos on YouTube on Halloween. How could I resist watching them? These stories are all connected and told in a grandpa's voice. Watch these frightening tales before you show them to your children. You are the best judge for what your children can stand to watch. Be forewarned that you need to be careful when sharing frightening stuff with kids.
Do you tell your children scary stories? You can add a comment after you vote, btw!
