Monster High Halloween Costumes For Girls

Updated on September 14, 2014

Freaky Just Got Fabulous!

Welcome to Monster High, where the children of the world's most famous monsters -- including Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, and The Mummy -- attend to learn and grow, as well as make friends and face life lessons. This Halloween you can dress up as your favorite member of the Fearleading Squad: Frankie Stein, Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Lagoona Blue Ghoulia Yelps, Abbey Bominable, Spectra Vondergeist, and Cleo de Nile.

Frankie Stein

Daughter of Frankenstein

At 15 days old, Frankie is the sweet and friendly daughter of Frankenstein and his Bride. She can be awkward and clumsy, losing various body parts on occasion due to being sewn together. She has light green skin, long black and white hair, and Heterochromatic eyes (one green, one blue.)

As the youngest of the girls, Frankie has learned most of what she knows about the world through teen magazines. She is athletic and enjoys History class. Frankie also has the ability to command electricity. Her best friends are Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf.

Frankie wears a green and black plaid dress with a white collar and organdy puff sleeves. She accessorizes with a black polka-dotted tie and silver skullette pin, a black studded belt with a lightning bolt buckle and a chain, and blue skullette earrings. Her shoes are black and white striped heels.

Dracula's Daughter

This 'vegan' vampire is the delightful daughter of Count Dracula. At 1,599 years old, Draculaura is a sweet and friendly girl who loves to have a good time. At times she can be overly ecstatic and distracted, resulting in mixed information. Her skin is a very pale pink, her hair is black and pink streaked, and she has a small pink heart on her left cheek.

Being vegan, Draculaura doesn't drink blood or eat meat, and she also happens to be afraid of blood, the sight of which causes her to faint. She is beast friends with Clawdeen Wolf and Frankie Stein. Her favorite subject is Creative Writing and she is currently dating Clawd Wolf, Clawdeen's older brother.

Draculaura wears a white skirt with a pink vest over a dark shirt with frilly sleeves and collar, and a short white frilly skirt with black lace underneath and dark tights. She accessorizes with safety pin earrings and a pink jeweled necklace. Her shoes are pink boots lattice patterned laces. Draculaura regularly carries an umbrella, to protect herself from the sun.

Clawdeen Wolf

The Werewolf's Little Girl

Clawdeen Wolf is the 15 year old daughter of the Wolf Man. She is a furry beauty who is confident and fierce, in both personality and fashion. Her wolf-like ears are pierced and she has golden eyes as well as fangs. Clawdeen is also influenced by the full moon.

She is beast friends with Draculaura and Frankie Stein. Clawdeen's favorite subject in school is Economics. She has a bit of a rivalry with Cleo de Nile, who dated Clawdeen's older brother Clawd at one time. She has a younger sister named Howleen.

Clawdeen wears a peach sparkly tank top with black tiger stripes and a purple miniskirt with a studded belt. She tops this with a black jacket with ribbed sleeves and hem, and a furry purple collar. Clawdeen accessorizes with a chocker necklace similar to her black studded belt. She completes her outfit with peach colored long socks with toe holes. Her shoes are black and purple strappy platform peep toe boots.

Lagoona Blue

Daughter of the Creature of the Black Lagoon

Say 'G'day!' to Lagoona Blue, the daughter of the Creature from the Black Lagoon and his ocean nymph wife. As a transfer student, Lagoona is friendly with all who attend Monster High. She has pale blue skin, green eyes, and long blonde hair. Her fingers are webbed and she has fins on her calves, forearms, and ears.

As she comes from "down under" and loves the water, Lagoona is sympathetic to all aquatic creatures. She loves to study Oceanography in school, but has trouble with Geology. She may or may not be dating Gil.

Lagoona wears a blank tank top with pink fish scales, a black jacket with teal cuffs and scales, and black and blue sparkly shorts over knee-length white fishnets. She accessorizes with a gold seahorse necklace. Her shoes are black platform flip-flop sandals.

Cleo de Nile

The Mummy's Daughter

At 5,842 years old (give or take), Cleo de Nile is the eldest member of the Fearleading Squad at Monster High. The daughter of the Mummy, she has an elder sister named Nefera. Cleo has long black hair with brown and golden highlights, tan skin, and light blue eyes. She has a crystal birthmark under her right eye.

She can be stuck up, selfish, and unkind, as well as competitive and difficult to deal with. Cleo has a bit of a rivalry with Clawdeen Wolf, whose brother Cleo used to date.

Cleo wears a strapless jumpsuit made of yellowish-gold-colored mummy wrappings, and a turquoise wrapped organdy top with black lining. She carries her cell phone on a strap on her thigh. She accessorizes with gold jewelry and mummy wrappings. Cleo's platform sandals also sport mummy-type bandages.

Ghoulia Yelps

Living Dead Girl

Being a zombie, Ghoulia Yelps speaks only in groans and moans, and moves quite slowly. This doesn't hinder her from being sophisticated and smart!

Her best friend is Cleo de Nile. When Ghoulia gets stressed out, which happens quite frequently, she tends to break her glasses, so she keeps extra pairs with her.

Ghoulia has pale grey skin which sets off her light blue hair. She has a studious appearance, although she tends to slouch and stand awkwardly, being a zombie. Ghoulia wears a black, red and white stripped shirt with a cherry patterned camisole over it. Red shorts and knee high black boots complete her outfit, paired with cat-eye glasses and a green headband.

Abbey Bominable

Yeti Exchange Student

Fierce, icy, and headstrong, Abbey Bominable is a transfer student to Monster High. Originally from "up North", she is the daughter of the Yeti. Some say she's cold but that's likely due to English being her second language.

Headless Headmistress Bloodgood invited Abbey to attend Monster High. She's become fast friends with Frankie and Lagoona, as well as Howleen. Abbey's light blue skin has a shimmer to it, and her long white hair is streaked with pink, purple, and blue. She has two small tusks and sharp claws.

Abbey wears a dress patterned with pink, blue, and purple designs, trimmed in white fur, paired with tights that shimmer with the same colors. She also has furry arm warmers and knee-high boots, as well as a furry headdress. Her earrings are purple snowflakes, and she wears a ice crystal necklace that also helps regulate her environmental temperature.

Spectra Vondergeist

19th Century Gossip Ghost

A ghost girl with a tragic past, Spectra Vondergeist is all about fantasy. Quite a force to be reckoned with, Spectra is the gossip columnist for the school paper. Not ready to "move on", she is kind and loves to help others, although she sometimes makes decisions too quickly and leaps to conclusions.

Being a ghost means Spectra has the ability to travel through walls, as well as float. Her skin with pale white, befitting a ghost, and her hair is shades of purple.

Spectra wears a black and purple dress with a handkerchief skirt with magenta underskirt. Chains accent the top of the dress to create a bodice look. Her shoes are translucent purple with chains, connected to metal ball heels.
