Penguin Awareness Day

January 20th is Penguin Awareness Day.

I've always been a huge fan of Penguins (my favorite comic strip character is Opus the Penguin whom I first started following when he was in Bloom County by Berke Breathed).

So here is one of MY Penguin sketches.....

For those of you who don't know, Penguins live almost exclusively (in nature) in the Southern Hemisphere. That means that Penguins are not native to the North Pole but some are found in warmer climes than the South Pole (The Galapagos Penguin lives near the Equator). Check out this link about Penguins.
