Reuseable Trick or Treat Bags

Updated on February 14, 2019

Let's Upgrade From Pillowcases

Today's tote bags come in different sizes and colors with cute graphics and text and many online shops that sell bags let you add your own text and photos.

Your kids will love having a special bag for Trick Or Treating on Halloween.

You can use these bags to tote around your crafts, school work, even use as reusable shopping bags. These can be great vacation bags too! Do you hate getting boxes from the big box stores to tote your smaller item groceries home?

Get a reusable bag, you will love it.

Trick Or Treating As A Child

Through out my entire youth as a trick or treator, I always used pillow cases, but then back when I was young, there wasn't all of the reuseable bags like there are now. Pillow cases were one of the most reuseable things for trick or treating (other than the little buckets they used to have).

Nowadays there are so many different things you can use over and over again, and so many places to get them at such an affordable price. Dollar stores are always a great place to shop for these such items, but there are bargains here and there as long as you are looking for them.

The Perfect Reuseable Halloween Bag

My kids have tried a bucket, but we found the holes just weren't big enough (well more awkward I should say), and they don't hold nearly enough for a child that is going to be out for any length of time collecting treats. We've of course done the pillow case thing, and the year before this last year we used a few bags from the dollar store. The problem those ones is that they pulled apart after only one year, so we couldn't use them. They were made out of felt.

This past year we found some reuseable bags for less than $2 each, and they were absolutely perfect. Not only did I find some that were the perfect size for the kids, we found some bigger ones for us adults (so that if the kids' bags got too full or heavy, they had a bag to empty it into so they could still collect more).
