What you will need to dress up as Si Robertson from Duck Dynasty this Halloween

I really enjoy Si Robertson's antics on Duck Dynasty. I would like to see a few Trick or Treaters dressed as Si Robertson for Halloween this year of him this year.

But a big part of Uncle Si is his stories. Uncle Si is a straight shooter, and always tells you like it is (in his mind).

That's a fact, Jack!

So maybe Uncle Si is a little convoluted. But he sure is funny.

So, this Halloween, lets not just look the part. Lets practice a few interesting stories and his mannerisms as well.

The easiest and quickest way to dress up as Uncle Si is to get this Uncle Si costume set (pictured). I really think picking each piece up separately will look better, but that's your call. For example, if you compare the beards, the one below looks much better and authentic compared to the one in this kit.

Uncle Si Robertson's Amazing Beard

Every adult male Robertson has a huge, magnificent beard. I think Willie's might be the most impressive and full, but Uncle Si has a great one too. His beard is long and scraggly black and grey. While Willie or Jase might be like a nice 10 point buck, Uncle Si is like the old grandfather deer, looking a little weary, but still majestic.

For any male Robertson costume, the beard is critical. It must be long and full, and amazing.

One thing you might not realize - Si's beard is lopsided. The right side is slightly narrower than the left.

According to Jase, this is due to the way Si carries and fires his rifle - the strap of the rifle brushes against the beard, and slowly wears it down. The beard also can get caught between Si's shoulder and the butt of the rifle.

Uncle Si's Accessories

If you just show up with a beard and camouflage clothes, people will think "hunter" and not Duck Dynasty.

So look the part!

Uncle Si is always wearing large black rimmed glasses with croakies to keep from losing them. He is usually wearing a hat.

Holding a Duck Commander Duck call will also help people distinguish, but I think the glasses, croakies, hat, and beard will be enough.

Practice using the Duck Call before you go to the party!

Camouflage

Uncle Si is almost always seen in a camouflage shirt and pants, as with all the Duck Dynasty men. They do not always match.

I also picked out a black shirt, since not everyone can use camouflage every day, and might just want to wear clothes more than once.

Uncle Si's Tea Cup or Pitcher

One of the funniest episodes I saw was when Uncle Si misplaced his Tea Cup. He kept accusing the other Robertsons of moving it, and created quite a ruckus.

Carrying around a Tea Cup filled with brown liquid of some sort will help distinguish you from both a hunter as well as the other Robertsons.

It doesn't matter if it is Tea or not. Just tell everyone it is Sweet Tea!

Acting the part

Uncle Si is very animated. If you are going to a party, acting like Uncle Si will get you a lot of attention. He talks with his hands, and always has an opinion, on everything. Even if he doesn't know anything about the topic.

Don't worry about making sense. Uncle Si doesn't always make sense, but he always has fun. You will too, if you mirror his antics.

Uncle Si routinely mispronounces words and phrases. For example, he has said he knows something "like the back of his ham." He also pronounces apocalypse as "apoc-a-liss." Large words are said a bit slower, and with a letter or two dropped. For example Apocalypse becomes "Apocaliss."

Uncle Si's greatest moments

Pay attention here, learn from Si. If you really want to pull off Si, you have to act like him.
