Make your Christmas tree special by decorating it with a unique theme. Chose something with special meaning for you and find ornaments that fit that theme. My neighbors lived in Africa for a number of years. They filled their home with wonderful momentos from their time abroad. At holiday time, their tree evokes memories of their years in Africa. It's wonderful and I could spend hours examining the different ornaments and hearing about their time there.
You sometimes find unique ornaments, even handmade ones, that you can't find anywhere else online.
