My Favorite Weird Christmas Songs to Brighten The Season

I've heard some funny, strange and even weird Christmas songs lately and they really make me laugh. One of my grand children's favorite weird Christmas songs is Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. They love to sing along with this Christmas song for kids and laugh every time they hear it. I think it is a very cleverly written piece of music and laugh along with them. I really get a kick out of these songs and if you haven't heard them before you really need to listen to them.

There are some other weird songs for Christmas out there. This type of music really changes the mood of Christmas for me and I like to listen to them when the stress of the season gets to me. A little light music can really brighten my mood. Songs by Dr. Demento and Weird Al Yankovich have always touched my funny bone. Especially the Christmas music they have recorded.

Most Christmas songs sung by these two really have a weird twist to them. If you haven't heard them before you are in for a real experience. My choice of Christmas music is usually more traditional, but these Christmas song can really make you laugh. The Xmas music you choose will probably depend on your mood. I think kids love weird and funny songs and most music for kids is usually on a much lighter side. I personally get a kick out of the laughter and enjoyment they get from listening to these songs. My grandchildren think it upsets me to hear them, especially ones with Grandma in the lyrics. They sing along loud and clear looking me in the eye to see if they can get under my skin.

I like to keep the music going throughout the holiday season and the funny one certainly relieve a lot of the stress. When I listen to the lyrics I can't help but think what my parents would think about these songs. They are just too funny and if the kids like them I will play them just to see their smiles.

These are some of my favorite songs to listen to and they bring a smile to my face. I like the traditional music but these are just too funny and really make you think. People enjoy satire and even enjoy some of these weird Christmas twists on old songs.

I personally enjoy many of these songs. The ones I have a hard time enjoying are the really demented ones that are violent and creepy. There are some very unique and humorous songs around for the holidays and it seems each year people are still coming up with new ones.

An unconventional playlist may be just the things to add to your holiday party. Some of these songs are dark, disturbing and hostile, while others are just plain funny. There are a lot of them out there and many you may have never heard of in your lifetime. Check them out and you may be surprised to find some that you can turn into a new Christmas tradition in your home.
